Lucinda Slim & The Lone Stars
What we have here is a new soul 7″ (that’s the size of a vinyl 45) out on Melting Pot Music. The artist, Lucinda Slim, is a singer/songwriter/DJ out of London. Actually, Lucinda Slim is an alter ego of one, Nia Shaw, who is also a member of the Afro-European vocal outfit – Zap Mama. The track has been produced by Belgian producer, Krewcial. Belgium – what it do doe!

So go ahead and enjoy the song. If you buy vinyl, you definitely could use this in your collection.
Meanwhile, here at Frying in Vein, we are preparing for a big move to our own personal site. That’s right, folks. Frying in Vein dot com is coming soon! Thanks for rolling with us.

That’s a nice sounding record, Melting Pot Music is always on point! I’m not sure how I feel about the “what it do doe” though. In the first place, you have to go with the official Rapid Ric spelling of “Whut it Dew”. Second, the additional doe makes it look too much like “what it doo-doo”, which I cannot abide.

“dewly” noted my friend, “dewly” noted.
Actually I am liking it to be a splicing of “what up doe” (Detroit-based greeting) and “what it dew” (Houston-based greeting). You can expect from here on out, I will type it as “what it dew doe.” You can feel good about that influence on my purpose-driven ignorance. LOL
yall are mad funny. lol that chick is hot though. and so’s the joint. thanks for putting me onto it, hubert.
