About FiV

Frying in Vein (FiV) is a random phrase. It was drummed up by Hubert Sawyers III – Peer Pressure Cooker.

It used to be a Blogger page, but time has passed and that means folks are older. In turn, that means more responsibility and greater challenges.

What started as a general tastemaking blog – focusing on all things of entertaining quality – is FiV is now a music marketing advice column and virtual working paper on the study of the developing music industry, along with highlighting interesting success stories in music, film and culture.  It is the hope that all readers find something enriching in the posts on this site.  In turn, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments as this is a discussion forum above all else.

Currently, Hubert is managing the hip hop act, Detroit CYDI, and is busy building his marketing agency, SorSaw. When he is not proffering deals for project management on various projects, he is also squeezing in time working on his own music(al career).
