Seriously, most of the people who are actually important (as opposed to "hot" which is fleeting and meaningless) are simply having a conversation on Twitter, you know...acting like adults.
As for self-interest and self-promo, we haven't seen anything yet. The situation will get unthinkably worse, dystopian science-fiction worse, because this isn't a trend and it's nothing new. It's the DNA of the USA -- every man a hustler, from Napoleon Hill to that Tim Ferris twat bragging about outsourcing to Indians who are smarter, harder working and less fortunate than himselvis.

The great thing about Twitter is you can simply tune those motherfuckers out, though.

Seriously, most of the people who are actually important (as opposed to “hot” which is fleeting and meaningless) are simply having a conversation on Twitter, you know…acting like adults.

As for self-interest and self-promo, we haven’t seen anything yet. Word myspace is reeeeediculous now, to the point you don't pay attention to who says what. and (possibly because of all these mixtape rappers) they made me take my mixes down. I think I'm about to dump my pages. i built up my facebook from scratch including only people I know in real life and its working out great.

Yeah.
